CHAPTER
FIVE: |
A READER WRITES FROM AUSTRALIA: I am glad that you pointed out in one of your chapters about the Vatican being the main one behind this whole Islamic-Jewish problem. I remember you making reference to the fact that Ahmed Deedat wrote letters to the Pope calling for unity and ecumenism, etc. I can also confirm this. About 12 years ago, Ahmed Deedat came to Sydney, Australia to promote his debates of denying Christ and the Bible. When he came, he was being inter-viewed by a godless talk-show host, Bert Newton of "Good Morning Australia". As he was interviewed, not only was Deedat trying to cover up his lies, he even went so far as to promote the Pope on air! He mentioned the dialogues and calls to unity (of Islam) with the Pope, and even went so far as to promote one of the Pope's books on air by holding up that book and saying that this is what he hopes to see happen in the future! Whilst Ahmed Deedat was here in Australia, he was too busy rubbishing the Bible and Christ, and resorted to childish tactics! One of my friends, a Christian who has lived in Israel, openly challenged him with questions, and Deedat could not answer them! The Muslims threw my friend out of the auditorium but they could not deal with the embarrassment! Pastor Daniel Scot from Pakistan (who is an expert in the Qu'ran) challenged Deedat that day too! Daniel Scot challenged Deedat by saying: "How can you expect me and anyone else to follow Allah or Muhammad, whom the Quran even calls a deceiver, and Muhammad who was uncertain of his own eternal destiny, and tells Muslims that they are uncertain of theirs too?" Deedat did not have any answer for that one either! It must also be noted that the Vatican actually supports the likes of Yasser Arafat, Assad, the House of Saud, Al Qaeda and the like. In fact, the Pope has held audiences with Arafat on numerous occasions and has had consistent correspondence with Assad and the House of Saud. As you already know, the Pope has kissed the Qu'ran and uses Fatima and Med-jugorje to promote ecumenism with all false religions (especially Islam) and Marian nonsense. I should like to mention that in the case where Pastor Daniel Scot was being attacked by godless Muslims for exposing Islam as a religion of terror, one of his main opponents accusing Daniel Scot for "hate crime" was none other than a Catholic priest! This same Catholic priest also held "reconciliation" meetings with Muslims. The Vatican-Islamic alliance is serious! In fact, I have no doubt that in the future Great Tribulation, the Vatican-Islamic alliance along with the Antichrist's armies will be hunting down both Jews and Tribulation saints. |
So, right here we learn that Mohammed taught that small sins were, in effect, atoned by not committing great sins. This sounds very much like the Roman Catholic sin doctrine of mortal and venial sins. The big ones really make trouble for you in purgatory, but the venial sins are easily dispatched with a few hail Marys. All non biblical religions have this arrangement. The reason for this is that there is no payment for sin provided in Islam, and the Roman Catholic Popes have invented their version so as to keep the follower in terror right up to the last moment.
The cost to pay Catholic priests to say Novinas and Masses for the dead will explain the monetary advantage of an atonement which is defective. One priest, on hearing of a Baptist pastor's financial struggles to pay his church's bills, said, "If you just had an acre in Purgatory, you could get all the money you needed." Working and paying off the debt of sin puts the follower of these mongrel religions under the control of their priests and Mullahs. This includes the follower's purse as well. In this works and payment plan, the Pope and Mohammed were good friends.
One is not startled that Ahmed Deedat and the Mullahs are eager to kiss and make up to the Vatican, even while they kill Bible believers and thrash them mercilessly. Islam needs to keep the follower in fear of sin unforgiven so he will obey the Mullahs and Fatwas.
Koran, Sura 6:120, Forsake the outwardness of sin and the inwardness thereof. Lo! those who garner sin will be awarded that which they have earned.
So there is Hell to pay for great sins, but the small sins will be overlooked if the great ones are not committed. We also see that sin is to be forsaken, but it is very clear that Al Koran offers no cleansing of past sin, no way to answer a guilty conscience. This is the reason for the Five Pillars of Islam. These are the only true requirements to please Allah. Islam has NO power to change the sinner, so he is given only five things to do. Anything else is ignored, including the massacres of innocents by Osama bin Laden and the killers of Allah.
In all fairness, as Christianity has brought the salt of the Word of God to the world, Islam has gotten a bit self-conscious, and the Mullahs are busy redefining sin, and they are also trying to internalize Jihad. By this they claim that Jihad today is the personal struggle of the good Muslim against the evil within himself. This makes Jihad much more respectable, and sin is addressed in this novel interpretation of Islamic Jihad. We are pleased to see this trend, for many Christians may be spared death at the hands of mad Muslims. But, sin in the Muslim's heart is still not eradicated. The modern Muslim is not burdened with the task of struggling against sin within himself, never to find complete deliverance from guilt. The day of personal victory is never reached. No power to fight sin is offered, as with the Christian Bible where Jesus Christ paid the penalty for the sin.
In Sura 6:120, we are told to forsake the "inwardness" of sin. How? Every person KNOWS he has sinful thoughts. Where is the power in Islam to forsake sin? Where do forsaken sins go?
Koran, Sura 39:53, Say: O My slaves who have been prodigal to their own hurt! Despair not of the mercy of Allah, Who forgiveth all sins. Lo! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
This is small comfort. It is only forgiveness for the sins I have done to hurt myself "to their own hurt". What about my sins against other men and God? Furthermore, you will never find in Islam how the penalty of sin is paid. In our human courts, and in the heavenly court, all unlawful acts have penalties attached. In fact, a law without a penalty attached is void from the day of inception. Where is Islam's payment of the penalty for sin, especially these small sins and the ones in which I only hurt myself?
Page 60
To put it according to Black's Law Dictionary, Islamic law is "color of law."
There is no place in Islam where one man dies for another man. Jihad is death in the cause of Islam, but it is a selfish death in that the Muslim dies to gain access for himself to Heaven. Mohammed had no way to pay the penalty of sin and keep on living. Mohammed totally ignored the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Why? Answer: Mohammed refused to acknowledge that he needed payment for his sin. He wanted to work up a good show for Allah and see if he could get into heaven on his own merits. Men who willfully stay dead in sin don't impress the God of the Bible. The God of the Bible demands payment for acts of sin, Allah looks the other way and no one pays for their sins. Which of these deities is holy? Reader, you need to stop and think about this.
Mohammed was stuck just like the Jewish Pharisees of Jesus' day. They refused to confront the holiness of God through "new birth," so they had to make an endless list of small sins to avoid, everyone of them becoming very important as time and tradition took over. Islam has a similar long list of sins which must be avoided rather than cleansed and forgiven. It is found in Al Hadith. I shall now give you a short list, thought there are perhaps 4000, of the small sins that Mohammed said the Muslim cannot commit:
Al Hadis, Book 1, Chap. 7, No. 54- Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Don't cleanse yourselves (wipe your backside) with impure things, nor with bones, because these are the provision (food) of your brethren from the Jinn (demons)'. Attested by Tirmizi, Nisai
I will make only brief comments. It is enough to just read these laws in Mohammed's legal system. I do not give these to mock, rather; I show you the mind of "The Prophet" of Allah. When sin cannot be paid, it is necessary to make silly little laws about the most mundane thing, like wiping your bottom after relieving oneself. Here is another such silly law:
Al Hadis, Book 1, Chap 8, No. 58- Abdullah-b-Sarjas reported that the Messenger of Allah said: 'None of you must pass urine in a snake's hole'. Attested by Nisai, Abu Daud
Why? There is no reason given. What is Allah telling us about urine and snakes? I am curious. The serpent is the image of evil in the Word of God. Why is Allah showing this consideration for snakes. Actually, it would seem to me that such a practice would get the urine and smell out of circulation in a constructive way. Can some Mullah tell me?
Al Hadis, Book 1, Chap. 6, No. 140- Abu Raihanah reported that the Messenger of Allah forbade ten things: Sharpening teeth, anointing palms, plucking out hairs, a man lying with another man without under-garments, a woman lying with another woman without under-garments, a man putting on silk underneath his dress like foreigners, or his putting on silk upon his two shoulders like foreigners, plunder, riding on leopards, and using a seal excepting for one who is a ruler. Attested by Abu Daud, Nisai.
It is a comfort to know that very few of us have offended Allah with regard to riding leopards, right? I have been stalked by a leopard in Ethiopia, but I readily agree with Mohammed about riding them. The leopards are far more likely to end up riding the Muslim who tries this. Also, we are encouraged that Mohammed is, in a subtle manner, discouraging homosexuality. It is too bad that this Hadith is not enforced by the Mullahs. I have E-Mail from Muslim young men who tell of the Mullahs who demanded to use them sexually, so this Hadith is being overlooked I gather. For the record, silk is associated with sensuality in the Middle East. One Arab authority said, "Allah made silk so that women could go naked while wearing clothes." You will need an Arab to explain that one, but it does shed light on the above Hadith I think.
Now, here is a direct contradiction of the above Hadith by Mohammed himself:
Al Hadis, Book 2, Chap. 10, No. 13- Jaber reported that the Prophet said: 'When you come at night, don't go to your wife till she takes off her hairs of her private parts and combs her disheveled hair.' Attested by Muslim.
Perhaps Mohammed had in mind that a man should not pluck his hairs, but it would have helped if he had made that clear. It is also interesting that Mohammed encourages the ladies to come to bed looking attractive if they expect amorous activity with their husbands.
Here are some more Hadith that deal with right and wrong or small sins.
Page 61
Al Hadis, Book 1, Chap. 6, no. 149- Umme-Salamah reported that the Prophet went to her (sexually) while she was putting on a veil over her head. He said: 'Use one fold, not two.' Attested by Abu Daud.
I wonder how Mohammed knew how many folds Allah liked.
Al Hadis, Book 1, Chap. 6, No. 150- Ibn Omar reported: I passed by the Prophet while I had looseness in my trousers. He said: 'O Abdullah! Raise up your trousers.' So I lifted them up. Then he said: 'Lift them more.' Then I lifted them more. I continued afterwards to make them short. Some people asked: 'Up to what place?' He said: 'Up to the middle of two hind legs.' Attested by Muslim
This is Islamic canon law, not just some silly side issue! I also note that there is no effort made today to obey this law of Mohammed. I should think that Muslim men would wear short trousers to comply with this law. Indeed, the Scots or Scotland may well be better Muslims than the Sheiks of Arabia.
Al Hadis, Book 1, Chap. 2, No. 61- Tal qe-b-Ali reported that the Messenger of Allah said: 'When a man calls his wife to satisfy his desire, let her come to him though she is occupied at the oven.' Attested by Tirmizi.
By this Hadith we may learn that sexual satisfaction is more important than baking bread. The problem for the Muslim woman is, she may be beaten later for burning the bread, which Mohammed allowed.
Al Hadis, Book 1, Chap. 1, No. 44- Abu Harairah reported from the Holy Prophet who said: 'When a man has two wives, and he does not deal equitably between them, he will come on the Resurrection Day with one side hanging down.' Attested by Tirmizi, Abu Daud, Nisai
This is powerful stuff, folks. If you men don't want to be deformed on one side for eternity in Paradise, be equally fair with both your wives. I suppose it is even more terrifying with four or even eleven wives, as Mohammed had, for unfair treatment could result in up to ten sides hanging down. Now, that could be very bad to be running around Paradise in such a state of physical deformity.
Al Hadis, Book 2, Chap. 11, No. 109- Abu Sayeed-al-Khodri reported that the Messenger of Allah said: 'When a fly falls into your food, drown it (in the food), because there is poison in one of its wings and a cure in the other, and it gives off the poison first and the cure last.' Attested by Sharhi Sunnat.
I wonder how many Muslims are faithfully doing this today? Also, it would be of great use to follow up on this bit of medical information and identify the cure in a fly's wing. Perhaps the cure could be isolated and made into a life saving drug.
This list is enough to show one clear truth about Islam, that is, it has no atonement for all sins. Long lists of picky little codes are needed for the faithful Muslim to use in the details of daily life. He can then work to keep the sin burden rather small and hope that Allah will not be too upset about it on the Day of Judgment. How sad, there is no forgiveness of sin in Islam.
The Bible, Ezekiel 18:20, The soul that sinneth, it shall die... the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
There is no distinction with God as to small and great sins. The penalty in the earth, in human courts, may vary, as with adultery and touching a dead body, but the final verdict for anyone who sins before the God of the Bible is guilt. The penalty must be paid.
The Bible, Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Sin came by Adam, and death came with sin. Everyone is a sinner in some way, so everyone faces the same final penalty-- death.
God gives the verdict in.....
The Bible, Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
The Bible, Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is DEATH; but the gift of God is eternal LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord.
It is clear from the Bible that one sin of any kind will send you to Hell. Allah might tolerate little sins, but the God of the Bible will not. He is so holy that He cannot look at one sin in a man. This is not a matter of preference, it is a LIFE AND DEATH matter. Allah is a pagan deity, for only pagan gods allow sin. The Greek gods even sinned like men. The God of the Bible is the only God who will not tolerate one small sin in man. The God of the Bible demands payment for all sins, and death is the penalty.
Page 62
God has provided forgiveness for our sins, all of which would damn us. The God of the Bible does not just want to remove "great" sins, as Allah does. Jehovah God is in the business of removing ALL of our sin, but only if we come to Him by His way (See Chapter 26). Only the believer in Jesus Christ has a convincing hope.
The Bible, II Corinthians 5:17, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, ALL THINGS are become new.
It seems that Allah only worries about "great" sins. The small sins are ignored. The God of the Bible leaves no doubt in your mind that once you are "born again," you have NO sin against your account. Also, you don't have to try to figure out which sin is "great" and which is small.
The Bible, Romans 14:23, And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
In the example of eating something, if my conscience causes me to be unsure if it is sin, I am condemned as guilty if I go ahead and eat. Doubt or lack of faith will damn a man. Is this too harsh? Mohammed must have thought so since he never touched the issue. Is there mercy, and how do we get mercy? Answer: There is mercy IF someone pays the penalty for every sin we have done, or ever will do. Who would do that?
The Bible, Isaiah 53:5-6, But he (Messiah-- Jesus) was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all.
There must be a payment for sin. Islam has no sacrifice and no payment for sin. Jesus paid the penalty in full when he died and shed his blood like a sacrificial lamb, for that holy blood of Jesus Christ was without sin. Thus, that holy blood of Jesus has washed away the sins of all men. All the sin of all men was put on Him, so there is no penalty to pay for those who ask God for this Salvation through The Lord Jesus Christ. Mohammed refused to take responsibility for his sins, so he had to mock at the death of Jesus and His resurrection. To believe in the resurrection of Jesus, Mohammed would be admitting there was a good reason for it. That would force Mohammed to deal with his personal need for forgiveness of sin. This Mohammed would NOT do.
Mohammed said the act of converting to Islam would cancel sin. This is salvation by actions of man, and there is no such thing. No act of a sinful man is sufficient to save that man and wash away his sin. Listen to Mohammed lie:
Hadith, Narrated in Saheeh Muslim, #121, and attested by Mosnad Ahmad, #17357.
A man called Amr came to the Prophet Muhammad and said, Give me your right hand so that I may give you my pledge of loyalty. The Prophet stretched out his right hand. Amr withdrew his hand. The Prophet said: {What has happened to you, O Amr?} He replied, I intend to lay down a condition. The Prophet asked: {What condition do you intend to put forward?} Amr said, That God forgive my sins. The Prophet said: {Didnt you know that converting to Islam erases all previous sins?}
There must be a sacrifice for sin. Moses, whom Mohammed claimed to know and visit in Paradise, taught the need for a sacrifice for sin, and the Jews offered their lambs once a year to cover their sins. Jesus Christ died on the cross to make the final and eternal sacrifice for sin. When someone "converts" or submits to the teachings of Islam, there is nothing about that submission which takes away sin, as Mohammed claimed. The sacrifice was COMPLETED on a hillside outside Jerusalem 2000 years ago on a Wednesday evening just before the sun set. If you believe that, God saves you because you believe it. The sin is already gone, the penalty for your sins against God and man were paid in full 2000 years ago. If you refuse to believe it, nothing you do, including submission to Islam as a religion, will save you.
The Bible, Romans 5:7-8, For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
The Bible, Ephesians 2:1 and 5, And you hath he quickened, (made to come alive) who were dead in trespasses and sin.... Even when we were dead in sins, (God) hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
We are all dead and going to Hell until the blood of Jesus' sacrifice is applied to us. That is done by God the Holy Spirit when we believe the Gospel, the Injil of Jesus Christ.
The Bible, I John 1:7, But if we walk in the light, as he (Jesus) is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Page 63
The only sacrifice I found in Islam is in North Africa in a ritual called "ZAR" exorcism where animal sacrifice, and sometimes human sacrifice and cannibalism, are used to pay demons (jinn) to leave people. (FOOTNOTE 11: 123 / 224-225 / 1930 ) There is no sacrifice for sin in Islam, so Mohammed had to try to make the Muslim comfortable with the knowledge that he was a sinner. Allah gave a limited hope of mercy, but nothing final. In fact, it is "ever easy for Allah" to cast men into the fire. How hopeless!
Now look at the Christian's promise from God to forgive everyday sinning:
The Bible, I John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
After a person becomes a Christian by repenting of his sin and believing on the Lord Jesus Christ (Al-Rub), he can confess sin to God, and God forgives him. Whenever a Christian finds wickedness in himself, he at once names it before God, claiming God's forgiveness. After this, God "cleanses" his guilty conscience. The cleansing is still based on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ who died for all sin, including the sin of the future of those who believe in Him.
Islam, like all non-christian religions, offers no such final cleansing in the present life.
To the Muslim reader this must sound strange because the Mullahs cannot even discuss this approach to sin. It is foreign to their thinking to rest in the forgiveness of a finished sacrifice made by Jesus on the cross 2000 years ago. Once Mohammed made Jesus Christ a mere man, he had no sacrifice for sin because mere men are sinners, and a guilty sinner cannot pay for another sinner's sins. He has to pay for his own. Dear Muslim friend, do you see why Jesus could pay for your sin? It was because He was God dying on the cross in your place. As God, Jesus had no sin in Himself, so His sacrifice was accepted by God the Father in heaven. This is the true Injil (Gospel).
Listen to David as he remembers how God forgave his sins:
The Bible, Psalms 103:1-5, Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
The Bible, Psalms 130:3-4, If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
Page 64
"There is forgiveness" to those who come to the God of the Bible. They have no such embarrassing instructions as the Hadith to deal with. According to the Mullahs, the Hadith are as authoritative as any of the scripture of Islam. It is these Hadith that govern the Muslim's daily life, so it is quite fair to let you read some of them, to see how hopeless it is to avoid sin in Islam. How can a modern Muslim live out this code of Mohammed and Allah? Dear Muslim friend, I did not quote the Hadith to make a fool of you, rather; let me call you away from this silliness to the Lord Jesus Christ (Al-Rub). He will not make a fool of you in this way.
After I saw Ahmed Deedat debate a Christian leader, I realized how Islam cannot change its most zealous followers. Deedat was born an India which is famous for its liars, who twist the truth without shame. He claimed to respect Jesus, then tried to prove he was a bastard. He claimed to follow rules of debate, then went everywhere but where the debate was planned. Deedat is a snake, and Islam cannot change his sinful heart. You may have been amused by the Hadith quoted above, but it isn't very funny when you realize that there are 7000 of them, and there is no way to know which sins are "great" enough to send you to Hell.
Only the God of the Bible cleanses and forgives ALL sin, small or "great," through the sacrifice and precious Blood of The Lord Jesus Christ.
